How They Work

Combining her experience at boutique and large branding and advertising agencies with her creative eye, Aimy can produce narratives, commercials, activations, documentaries, and live events and tours from start to finish. They are also available to jump in for a portion of a project whether that’s setting up a budget or carrying a project from pre-production to distribution.

Aimy has served as a line producer, unit production manager, on-set producer, creative producer on ultra low budget independent sets and large-scale high-budget union productions in Chicago and around the country. She has also handled national multimedia tours for artists like Guggenheim fellow Jefferson Pinder.

What draws Aimy to a new project is the story, the characters, the answers to, “Why this? Why now?”

As a producer, Aimy believes in collaboration and facilitating positive, empowering sets where emerging and veteran filmmakers can create their best work. These warm work environments have resulted in long festival runs, award-winning work, and satisified clients.

Aimy is committed to equitable and diverse hiring with an emphasis on mentoring and facilitating professional growth. The world in front of the camera should be reflected in the faces behind it. That means sets that are Black and Brown, queer, and gender diverse.
